COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Job Description
Install, configure, deploy, monitor and maintain applications in development, Quality Assurance and Production Environments. Prepare architectural design to prevent degradation of performance while adding new features. Automate batch job scheduling including backup and recovery processes and rotating logs. Test and debug prototype designs of the application. Skills required: Java, J2EE, PERL, Docker, Kubernetes, IBM WebSphere, Apache, UNIX, Azure, Remedy and Linux. Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering or any related field with 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation is required. Bachelor’s degree in the above mentioned fields along with 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation is acceptable in lieu of Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable. Work location: Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
